Try doing some duplicate stitch of something that will coordinate on the sweater. Ive been doing this on some old cheap sweaters I found at Salvation Army. Im getting some great holiday sweaters out of this idea. Deb Wise

Intarsia sweaters arent as warm (that carried yarn does add bulk) and, if the yarns arent interlocked correctly and the ends arent secured well, the sweaters will show gaps and unravel. Inexpensive holiday sweaters are prone to these flaws.
